Bipasha Basu is an actress who is always speak her voice.

She was aware from the very first day that Bollywood is male dominating industry and women used for only show piece.

Recently in an event she accepted that yes she is ageing and she is not younger any more.

For 31st December Night Bipasha charged 90 lakhs

In 31st December 2007 Bipasha Basu charged Rs. 90 lakhs for performing at at the J W Mariott Hotel. This time she is going to perform at the Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai.

Carving Dreams head artist and public relation Tanujaa Mehra says, "Yes Bipasha will be performing at Sahara Star on 31 December for the New Year's Eve for 15 minutes. However, I cannot disclose her charges for that."

This year Katrina Kaif will perform at J W Mariott Hotel.

Bipasha Basu clarifies why she left the Kashmir

Bipasha Basu's shooting of Lamha was always in doubts and drama. This drama took the new shape when a policeman make a proposal to Bipasha Basu to get married with him.

Last Saturday Bipasha Basu left whole cast crew and director in the Srinagar and arrived in Mumbai without intimating to any one. Sanjay Dutt joined team on that day at Srinagar to shoot some scenes with Biapasha Basu at there.

Bipasha Basu cleared whole smoke with her answers - "We had agreed to shoot in Srinagar as we all wanted to capture the beauty and authenticity of the region but the situation got a little tricky. The government and the Srinagar officials have been supportive and have helped us with permissions, security and hospitality but as is common in most places, even they couldn't help with the impact of fan following and crowd frenzy."

However she do not like to called it as a fleed and she further added - "My departure wasn't abrupt. I tried for seven days and realised the risk taken wasn't helping as we hardly shot. It's got nothing to do with me being strong. I am very strong but I understood it was impossible to continue there. At the same time, my family and friends were extremely worried about me. The only big scene we shot was on a day of curfew. Hence, post talking to my producer (Bunty Walia) and Sanju (Sanjay Dutt), I decided to leave for Mumbai."

She was also upset with the cancellation of shooting at there - ""Shooting in Srinagar had to be cancelled a couple of times due to the large numbers of over-enthusiastic locals gathering to watch the shoot. Ample security provided couldn't help keep them at bay at times. I tried my best."

When some told that is this was because of Sanjay Dutt, she clarifies - "Please! Sanju is one of the finest co-stars and human beings I have ever worked with. This is not my first film (Rakht) with him. So please do not look for any baseless complications."

Bipasha's shooting stopped by public

When first news came that instead of Karishma Kapoor Bipasha Basu will play the role of Kashmiri girl in Lamhaa every one was interested. Crew move to Kashmir to shoot for the film so that a real touch can be added to this movie.

But when shooting starts and crew female member start the shoot in burqas and all local public excited and confuse and stoped the shooting. This was not the first time happend to the crew of Lamhaa ... earlier also when local fruit vendor show their objecttion for shooting, one campus principal also requested them to stop the shooting.

So with the current scenario it was clear that we will be able to see only some part from the Kashmir and rest movie will make in Mumbai with artifical touch of Kashmir. Even they have started to purchase Kashmir kind of furniture so that they can give a good look of Kashmir in Mumbai.

But however this was really daring move by Bipasha Basu that she have agree to shoot for the film in Kasmir.

Bipasha Basu will play the role of Kashmiri Girl

Bipasha Basu is getting various roles sucha as Corporate, Freezed and now Producer Bunty Walia's forthcoming project Lamha. Earlier for this role Karishma was selected because of her look and colour but she refused to shoot in kashmir. Later on Bipasha Basu approached for this role and also disclose the location of shooting. Bipasha Basu have no problem and she is ready to do the role.

With Bipasha Basu Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Kapoor will be in lead role.

Bipasha do not want to marry John

For Bipasha Basu last seven years were really learning years from Ajnabee to Bachna Ae Haseeno. According to Bipasha Basu - "It has been a learning process for me from Ajnabee till my latest release- Bachna Ae Haseena. I have learnt everything on the job slowly and steadily unlike then new comers today who come prepared even with their first film."

Bengali girl also admit that she is now mature by the time and further added "I am glad I could live to see a film of mine celebrating its golden jubilee like my second film after Ajnabee- Raaz did.

I am not bragging about it but genuinely I feel sad that today it is not possible for any actor, including John Abraham to celebrate the jubilee of his or her film, since a stage has come when a film has got to recover its cost in the first three days of its release with films having become a big business with the mushrooming of the multiplexes."

But you should never ask Bipasha Basu about the latest co stars and their age difference … she just explode and added "Why is an actress who has not even touched 30 labelled as a senior actress just because she is cast opposite new actors like Ranbir and Neil, who are younger to me just by two to three years?

Aishwarya Rai has married Abhishek Bachchan who is three years younger to her but has it in any way changed their relationship"?

"Why is it that no one has any objection when an actor like Nana Patekar or for that matter Anil Kapoor is cast opposite actresses who are half their age? There was no hue and cry raised when Akshay Khanna was teamed in Dil Chahta Hai opposite Dimple who is senior to him by 25 years

. It is indeed high time that women are given a break."

Bipasha feels that she has not been given her due as an actor though she had given an award winning performance in Corporate because of limitations.

"There are many reasons why I am not offered good films. I do not belong to any particular camp like some other actresses. It is well known fact that I have a boy friend who I do not hide in my closet.

All said and done, we should not forget the fact that it is a hero oriented film industry and I cannot ask for more than what I being offered."

Character of Radhika is just similar to the Bipasha’s real life and I think that’s why she have performed this character with so ease.

"Your first love can end in marriage if you are lucky. Also you can fall in love any number of times till you end up meeting your ideal soul mate. It is all a question of your luck."

Bipasha admitted that love have an important part in her life. "What would you do in life if you are busy 24/7 with only your work and have no one to share your life?

However, in case you want to know when I am planning top plunge into marriage with John, let me confess that as of now there are no marriage plans for us though we do not hide the fact that we are seeing each other and are in love.

What I like the best about John and myself is that both of us do not carry the baggage of being stars. We are like-minded soul mates who do not like to hide behind sunglasses."

Now Bipasha Joined Television Industry

Television Industry is at boom and with the launch of Reliance DTH and dozens of reality show this industry is picking the pace. So bollywood actresses and actors are joining this industry to promote their latest ventures.

Someone is going to Salman Khan show and some to Roy show. In the similar fashion Bengali bomb shell also appearing in one of the reality show Chak De bacche- Shehar Di Kudiyan Te Galli De Gunde. Earlier news was in the air the Bipasha Basu will be the judge of this show and will share the chair with Raveena Tondon but Bipasha denied this and told that she was just the guest of inaugural show.

Bipasha added “The news of me being one of the judges with Raveena is simply not true. I was just a guest for their inaugural show and reports of me joining television are false.”

Bipasha Basu is a Hero Pusher Actress

Bipasha pushed Saif Ali Khan in Race and movie hit and this time she pushed Neil Mukesh in Freezed from 9th Floor lets see whether this movie got hit or not. If this movie also get success than this is for sure than Director and Producer will give instruction to the script writer to write a scene where Bipasha Basu pushed her hero.

According to Bipasha "Race was a hit. And if Freeze turns out a success they'll think my pushing heroes off buildings is lucky for a film. Everyone will start writing in a 'heroine-pushes-hero' scene into all my scripts. I'm becoming a hero-pusher," she chuckled.

Thats showing Bipasha Basu's sense of humour as well.

Bipasha Basu Injured her knee

Bipasha Basu had pain while she was shooting in Bangkok for a song. At the initial stage she avoid this pain. According to her "I didn't even know it was a tear. There was a lot of pain in Bangkok and I didn't know what it was. I thought it was a problem related to my flat feet. But after I returned to Mumbai and finished with John's (Abraham) brother's wedding reception I got an MRI done. It showed a tear.

"It's a very common occurrence in the legs of active people like dancers and athletes. That tear just stays. There's no cure for it. If you lead a routine life it doesn't bother you at all. Otherwise there's arthroscopy. But my orthopaedic surgeons have not advised it. I can walk, work out, dance, do everything."

Bipasha further added that this kind of problem is common for an artist and athelets and she took it as a part of her job. According to Bipasha "It's part of our job. It's no big deal. You just have to understand your body and be careful. Four years back I ran with the wrong shoes. It caused a knee problem. I immediately corrected that. I believe in long-term health and when I work out I listen to my body. If any part of my body gives me any pain I stop immediately. And no trainer can push me," she quipped.

Bipasha Basu - Another bindass statement

Bipasha Basu always state that Bollywood is the male dominated industry where there is very limited scope for female artist and this also becomes narrow when she got engaged into a relationship.

Bipasha further added "Your personal life has an indirect impact on the offers that come your way. Once you are bonded into any relationship the choice is limited and one has to take right moves." This is very much true also as we have seen nuemrous actress whose film career almost stopped after relationship. Raveena Tondon, Sri Devi, Sonali Bendre are the perfect example of it.

Bipasha Basu also disclosed that she want to do hardcore romantic movie with John Abraham under the banner of John Production house but not of jism type .

Bipasha Basu and Yuvraj Singh Together ...

Yeah this is true bindaas actress Bipasha Basu and dashing cricket player is coming together in Reebok ad campaign. Although company's first choice was John Abraham but he put down this because of John commitment with Wrangler and now Yuvraj (Yuvi) replaced for John.

But I think this is also dynamite combination as both are known because of their aggressive and bindaas attitude. Reebok spokeperson also confirmed, 'The chemistry between the duo is evident. And the combination looks classy not just in this ad campaign, but the looks for the other sub-brands. We will have the classic, rugby looks among others that will be revealed.''

Bipasha is also excited working with Yuvi and admit, ''It is fun and Yuvi is a bundle of energy. It feels great working with him,''
